Attend Upcoming Events
I just found out I’m going to the Small Press Expo this year with Drawn & Quarterly. So here’s an updated list of upcoming events. Please come and bring a friend.

  • Halifax Book Launch – September 20 @ 7pm
    Strange Adventures Comic Shop
  • Toronto Book Launch – September 27 @ 5pm
The Central (next to Beguiling comic shop)
  • Toronto Word on the Street Events – September 28 @
Word on the Street Graphic Novel tent
  • Bethesda, Maryland – October 4 & 5

As soon as I have time, I will also add a Paypal button to the shop so you can order limited run of signed books (with sketches) directly from the site. These will also ship in November.

That photo is of the stickers we’re printing (thanks, Stone!) to give away with books.

Oh and here’s an article about the book from the McGill Daily News.

Drawn & Quarterly Window Display

We set up an Ojingogo window display at the Drawn & Quarterly store here in Montreal.

Here’s what the shop window looks like normally. Not bad, but it could use more whales.

Here’s a Photoshop mock-up of what I was proposing to do with the window.

Mirror Cover

There’s a story in this week’s Montreal Mirror (arts weekly) about the Ojingogo book.

And look at the cover – that’s my comic!

Ojingogo T-shirts now available

The grey Ojingogo shirts are now for sale and will be shipping in late June.

Last month I asked people to vote on their favourite T-Shirt colour and grey won by a landslide, with blue coming in second and orange a distant third. Twenty-seven kind souls responded with strong opinions. Thanks to everyone for their feedback, it was really great and confusing to read all the opinions.

My new T-shirt shop is over at the incredibly-awesome Topatoco.com – which is basically Jeffrey Rowland‘s one-stop-shop for web-comic creators. They have tons of awesome shirts in the shop by Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics), Kate Beaton (Glasses makes you sexy), and many others – including this new one by Jeffrey himself:

Which T-Shirt colour should I choose?

Hey, so now that I have a proper T-Shirt shop, I’m going to start filling it with T-shirts.

People have been asking for Ojingogo T-Shirts for years and now seems like a great time to do one. But I need your help…

Which colour is good??

The above sketch is for Jenogo in Brooklyn! Who requested a “ghost-birds”-type sketch in their book.

Just sent out a big shipment of books and prints. Thanks to everyone for their patience. Every spare minute of the last month has gone into finishing the Ojingogo book which is very nearly done. I’m looking forward to putting it all online in the coming months.

Here’s a book sketch for Paul in Amsterdam:
