About Matt Forsythe

I’m an illustrator and comic book artist living in Montreal. I’m also editor of the popular illustration blog, Drawn.ca and social media manager for the National Film Board of Canada.

My comic Ojingogo was originally serialized on this site while I was living and working in Korea. Ojingogo was nominated twice for an Eisner Award and won an Expozine award for Best English Comic. In 2008, Ojingogo was published by Drawn & Quarterly and won a Doug Wright Award for Best Experimental Comic in 2009.

My illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal to The Walrus magazine.
