So the kids’ book I illustrated last winter was just released at Book Expo America to really great reviews. The book is called, My Name is Elizabeth – it’s about a girl who doesn’t like when people mess with her name. Kirkus Reviews called it one of the top books at BEA. Seriously! Here’s their full list.

Here are a few semi-blurry photos I took while huddled up in my apartment painting the book. These pages were all painted with gouache and ink and This American Life.
