The flag looks backwards because it’s suppose to symbolize the forward advancement of the U.S. military (in battle) and it’s on the right shoulder because in the Army, the right side of a soldier is a place of honor.

@Lyon – Eyeless, because the pupils just made it look creepier. Also, it was for a diagram, so I wanted to try and keep it generic-looking.
