O-Jenogo

The above sketch is for Jenogo in Brooklyn! Who requested a “ghost-birds”-type sketch in their book.

Just sent out a big shipment of books and prints. Thanks to everyone for their patience. Every spare minute of the last month has gone into finishing the Ojingogo book which is very nearly done. I’m looking forward to putting it all online in the coming months.

Here’s a book sketch for Paul in Amsterdam:

Just read your comment on Twitter about the hall monitor police. Yup, they’re everywhere. Thankfully, we ignore them and go our own way. It’s the same in the blogging world … I try to break all the rules and amazingly people still read my blog.

Your illustrations are wonderful. I like the fish earlier and your robot..

Whoa. What have I missed? You have a book to be published soon? Where? With what publisher? Where will I find it?
And you say you’ll put it “all” online? How anti-capitalist is that (I love it!) but since I’m still a consumer whore, is there really going to be a tangible book to purchase?

Hey Molécule -

Yes, I guess it’s “official” since I sent out the contract last week.

I’m publishing a “full-length” Ojingogo book with Drawn & Quarterly - they are here in Montreal but hopefully the book will be for sale in bookstores elsewhere?

Where are you?

It will definitely be for sale on my site!

As soon as the book is done, I’ll start putting my energy into the Ojingogo site again.

D&Q? No kidding?
Congrats mate!
D&Q is by far the best anglophone publishing house in Canada . Their books are awesome. I think it is only fitting that your art finds its place with them.

God, I could only dream….

Anyway, I will definitely be looking for your book, and since I live in a region near Montreal, it’s going to be easy to find.
When’s it due to be out? Is there a date yet?
