My First Billboard
I did some concept art for a billboard last month. The ad agency was looking for a “Pixar-ish” version of a freshwater fish, like a trout.
The final art was rendered by artists at MomentFactory, the ad agency:
Here’s one that just popped up outside the Jean Talon subway station in Montreal (Thanks Aisling for the photo!).

Whoa! That is one big fish! It’s great that you show us the process leading to the final result. I can’t imagine the feeling of seeing your own drawing on a huge billboard. Must be incredibly cool!

They ARE all over town. I see that damn smiley bastard TWICE on the way to work. As a print worker, I like the fact that it looks like the final products color came out a little different than you set it up as… makes me feel less guilty.
