I’m having a look over my posts this year to see what I did.
Here are some of my favourite posts.
January
- Learned about Conflict in Storytelling
- Finally posted a video interview with Evan Dorkin
February
- I did some promotional work for Chez Schwartz – The Film
March
- Someone started building an awesome wooden sculpture based on one of my illustrations
- Ojingogo was nominated for a Shuster Award
- Drawn won Best Canadian Blog award at the Bloggie Awards at SXSW
- We shot Erin’s film, Birthday Girl, over four intense days
- I took about 600 photos at a major Disney retrospective at Montreal’s Museum of Fine Art and posted them to Flickr
- I tangoed with Threadless… and lost.
April
- Did the cover for the popular Montreal arts weekly, The Mirror.
- Opened a MySpace account – which I barely visit.
May
- Announced my new Citizen Journalism class at Concordia
June
- Did a series of watercolours for a local art show.
- Self-published a 28 book of my Book Sketches and went to the MoCCA festival in New York

- My first DVD package design is released
- Attended Expozine
- Started selling prints of my work
- Made a T-Shirt
December
- Started a new webcomic
- Inexplicably, wrote a “Year in Review” post.

Nice way of looking back on the year Matt. I have to add several omissions:
Summer 2007: Many uneventful walks to Loblaws with Aisling and me. I’d occasionally having a laugh at someone’s unsteady footing
