Redrawing Comics

Can you see the difference? Hrm.

I’m going over the final draft of the Ojingogo book and it’s taking forever. Because I want to spot print the book, I have to completely rescan and re-lay-out – in some cases re-draw – many of the strips in high resolution and it’s taking a lot longer than I thought. I feel like I’m remastering an old film or something.

I’ve done a few new pages recently that I absolutely love, which gives me energy to keep going.

only difference i can see is, the new one has a little more contrast.

Hrm…The differences I see are in his shadow…Also, the line on his right eye is not there.

I have untrained eyes though.

This is very exciting! I am excited! :D

High-five!

@Darren – Definitely a bit more contrast on the right – as I thresholded all the blacks.

@Naseem – To be honest there’s very little / no difference on the screen because the resolution is so low. It will be more noticeable on the page though… but that’s too far off, so I had to post something.
