Birthday Girl - Teaser Trailer

At long last, here’s a teaser trailer for Birthday Girl, the short film I’ve been working on for the last year.

Erin cut the trailer together last week. We put the green MPAA card in at the beginning for kicks. A respectful nod to mash-up culture.

She has a “picture lock” now, which means that the only things left are sound, neg cutting and colour timing.

I’m working with a couple friends to record the score for the film. It’s fascinating to watch this come together. One has less control over the final product, but it’s a much more sociable and collaborative medium than illustration and comics.
