StumbleUpon rocks! I played around with it a little last year but now, thanks to this post from Julien Smith, I’m really starting to see its value as a social networking tool.

It’s awesome to find audiences that have already been talking about your stuff. I stumbled my comic and found the Coudal Partners promo which I discussed in the last post and that a bunch of people were bookmarking my portfolio.

StumbleUpon in many ways could replace my interest in filters or aggregators. But one problem is that it lacks currency – stumbling me into old sites that have been memed around for years. It will be interesting to see if SU incorporates a buzz-filter of some sort – weighting newer material over old for those of us who want to use it as a guide to the zeitgeist.

Coudal Partners, the great Chicago web-journalism experiment, is using an Ojingogo image at the top of their Comics and Animation feed.

I’m a fan of Coudal, so I’m really chuffed.
