Book Sketches

Ojingogo Hand Tree

Wow. Thanks again to everyone for ordering books. I’ll probably have to order another printing as this batch is already dwindling.

If you’re in Toronto, I dropped off a bunch of books last week at The Beguiling. The Beguiling is the best comic shop in the world – and it’s located at Markham and Bloor, in the shadow of Honest Ed’s.

I’m doing a free sketch with every order, which is a ton of fun but probably a poor use of time. A lot of the sketches could probably be expanded in to interesting strips. I’m thinking of scanning all the sketches and maybe putting together a collection for conventions or something.

This one was for Con in Limerick, Ireland.

I still remember the friendly sketch you left in my copy of the 1st printing you did for the 1st volume. It filled my heart with joy and other, similarly warm goo. You’re definately top notch, guy.

As the recipient of the above hand-tree plus sleeping girl plus envelope with my very own name on it, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate it! It’s great, and your comic is great. I loved going through the comic online, but having it on paper and substantial is special somehow.

Thanks, Mr Shen and Brent!

So glad you like the sketches. That hand-tree is one of my favourites so far…
