An Eye for Annai

Alright, so I’ve made it in one piece from Montreal to Waterloo for this year’s Festival of Animated Cinema. I’m reporting from the event for Frames Per Second magazine. Tonight I watched two features and a bunch of shorts. The highlight for me was a short by a Sheridan grad, called, “An Eye for Annai”. Sometimes animation is like Italian cooking: keep the ingredients simple and fresh and the results will always astound.
